Those first years may be the last and only time that you will be able to control what your baby boy or girl has to say. Use baby onesies with funny or clever sayings and have him or her say exactly what you want. But don't wait too long to exercise this control just as quickly as your child learns to talk will come the independence to speak his or her own mind.

Baby onesies, first brought to the market by Gerber, are the perfect clothing for any baby. The snap-under-the-crotch design of this clothing solves a number of problems. They hide the diaper. They do not come untucked from Baby's pants and ride up his waist. They work equally well alone around the house or can be worn in combination with a wide variety of tops and bottoms. Yet they are very convenient for those diaper changes because of the snaps.

First used simply as practical baby underwear, onesies have quickly replaced t-shirts and other tops as primary baby clothing. Now onesies can be found in thousands of different colors, patterns, and designs from hundreds of manufacturers. Baby onesies with a clever message has become the most popular category. Clever sayings are printed or embroidered on the front and/or back of the onesies, making it more than just a piece of clothing, but a means of communication. This represents the parents' opportunity to infuse their child with opinions, personality, attitude, or humor far beyond the child's innate abilities. Examples range from simply cute to downright cruel:

Just keep in mind that it should be more than the message that you look at when deciding on a funny onesie. Embroidered messages and designs are much more durable and richer looking than screenprint designs. And don't ignore the overall quality of the basic garment itself.
